Chirantan is Director, Venture Capital at British International Investment plc (‘BII’, formerly CDC Group plc), UK’s DFI that invests across S Asia and Africa. Chirantan leads BII’s early-stage investing vertical which invests in both VC fund managers and early-stage businesses. Currently managing c.$500m, the portfolio cuts across seed/early-stage funds and Series A/B/C companies, where BII plays an active role on LPACs and company boards. Chirantan holds an MBA from the London Business School.
