Julie Koeninger, CFA, managing director, leads business development for Manulife Investment Management’s global agriculture strategy. Koeninger’s 30-plus years of experience in agriculture investing include portfolio management, product development, relationship management and consultancy. Prior to joining Manulife Investment Management in 2018, Koeninger was director of agriculture at Conservation Resource Partners and, before that, was the product strategist for timber and agriculture at GMO where she led the development of and fundraising for GMO Renewable Resources’ first agriculture fund. Previously, she was an independent consultant in agricultural investment. Koeninger was instrumental in the development of the Hancock Agricultural Investment Group where she served as portfolio manager. She holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. She is a CFA Charterholder.
