Kurt Vroman has been a Trustee of the Deltona Firefighter's Pension Plan Board of Trustees for 13 years. Currently he serves as the Board Chairman. Kurt is a Certified Public Pension Trustee (CPPT) through the Florida Public Pension Trustees Association, the certification is only awarded after completing three levels of training, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced, and successfully passing a knowledge-based test. Since joining the board, he has been a driving force to have more asset classes brought into the fund for better diversification and more stability. In addition, Kurt is part of the Deltona Firefighters Association where advocates on behalf of these Firefighters on issues like Pension, Health and Safety, and numerous other issues that affect their job and benefits.
