Luis Felipe Jiménez is an Economist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He had a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University, in the United States. Also, he obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

 Currently he is the Adjunct Superintendent for Capital Markets in the Financial Superintendence of Colombia. And previously, he acted as Delegate Supervisor and advisor for the Financial Superintendent

He also worked as a natural disasters risk management consultant at the World Bank and as Director of Economic Studies of at the Colombian association of pension funds.

He has ample experience in risk management of pension and trust funds.
