Marc is a nationally recognized money manager, with a stellar record of achievement as a mutual fund manager, Wall Street Portfolio Strategist and Five-star Morningstar-ranked separate account manager (SMA). He specializes in dividend/distribution/income growth investing and currently works most closely with clients on portfolio construction. Marc distinguished himself at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and The Rising Dividend Growth Fund, while also effectively managing money for large philanthropies such as the (Sir) John Templeton Foundation and the David H. Koch Foundation prior to joining Hobbs Group Advisors.

Educationally, Marc received his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business; graduated with Honors from Colby College with a B.A. in Economics & Mathematics and received other professional certifications in Valuation, including the APA’s Core Business Valuation recognition. He has always been active and competitive, starting in his early years of college as a three-sport inter-collegiate athlete (soccer, basketball and crew). Today, Marc enjoys mixed martial arts, cycling and finding ways to win in poker.

Marc has been a frequent guest lecturer at the Darla Moore School of International Business; Investment/Industry Conferences; Yahoo Finance TV; CNBC; and the Columbia Investment Forum. He was honored to serve for two terms on the Investment Advisory Committee Board of the Navigators Global Mission organization; Boy Scouts Indian Waters Council Board as well as Hope for New York. Outside of business, he enjoys having fun with his wife Laura, their daughter Olivia and many friends around the world.
