Michael New is a Principal on the Capital Formation team at Fifth Wall, where he helps lead fundraising initiatives.

Prior to his role in Capital Formation, Michael served as a Vice President of Special Projects and as an Investor on Fifth Wall's Real Estate Technology and Retail & Consumer Investment teams.

Michael started his career at Velos Partners, a venture capital firm focused on investments in early-stage consumer technology companies.

Michael was born in Bethesda, Maryland and currently lives in Venice. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in economics.
