Michael has held leadership roles in business development and relationship management with several national and global wealth management organizations prior to joining Klingenstein Fields Advisors as a Managing Director. Before entering wealth management, Michael was in private practice as an attorney working in large NYC and Philadelphia law firms, specializing in estate planning, family law, and complex commercial transactions. Michael currently serves as President of the East Coast Estate Planning Council and Chair of STEP Gold Coast Florida. Michael is a Registered Trusts and Estates Practitioner (TEP), and a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Planning Practitioners (STEP) and holds the Accredited Estate Planner (AEP) designation conferred by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC). He earned his J.D. from the Cardozo School of Law, where he was an editor of the Cardozo International Law Journal and holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Business from the University at Albany, SUNY.
