Mr. Alcantara-Lansberg is the founder, managing director, and Chief Investment Strategist for Harbor Ithaka. He heads the firm’s global macro and risk allocation research work that guides the firm's asset management team. His areas of interest include portfolio theory, risk and asset allocation, and the psychology of financial markets. He has been actively involved in the financial markets since 1997.

Mr. Alcantara-Lansberg’s academic background includes studies in Intellectual history at the American University in Paris, and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
