Rob is a Senior Investment Advisor / Portfolio Manager within the Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice at Truist. Truist’s Foundations and Endowments Specialty Practice delivers comprehensive investment advisory, administration, planned giving, custody, trust and fiduciary services to nonprofit organizations. The firm administers assets (Roughly $15 billion) for foundations, hospitals, educational institutions, cultural organizations, human service agencies, associations, municipalities and other nonprofits.
As an Investment Advisor, Rob advises on the development and implementation of investment strategies to help clients meet their short- and long-term goals. He follows a disciplined process of assessing an organization’s financial situation, determining risk tolerance, forming and executing an appropriate investment strategy, and regular portfolio rebalancing and reporting in order to obtain measurable results.
In his 23 years of investing experience, Rob has held senior “sell side” equity analyst positions at Alembic Global Advisors, BB&T Capital Markets and Davenport & Company. Rob also worked for two multi strategy hedge funds. In his previous roles, Rob has participated in numerous Capital Markets engagements including public and private equity and debt offerings, M&A transactions and aiding in fairness opinions.

During Rob’s career he has been publically recognized as the top analyst in his respective industry by Starmine/Thompson One, The Wall Street Journal and Forbes. Rob has served as a board member for the Richmond SPCA and on the Alumni Board at St. Christopher’s School and is a member of St. Stephen’s Church. He is currently serves on the standing committee for the Society of the Cincinnati. He is married and has three children.
