Steven is a Co-Founding Senior Managing Director and the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Acansa Investment Management Group, LLC, an Outsourced Chief Investment Officer serving educational endowments, and charitable foundations. As Deputy CIO, Steven is responsible for portfolio management, and leads the firm’s alternative and private investments. Prior to co-founding Acansa, Steven was the Chief Executive Officer (and now Chairman) of Crosswind Capital, LLC, an investment management firm based in New York and London, directing and managed the activities of a $2.0BB multi-asset class institutional portfolio. He received his MBA from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania, and his B.A. from Washington & Lee University. Steven is a member of the Board of Directors of Aiglon (Switzerland), where he also serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee, and Chairman of the Investment Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of D3 Energy, LLC, which is engaged in the development of floating solar arrays in the United States and around the world. Steven is also a Member of the Board of Directors and Finance Chairman of Barefoot College USA, a charitable organization dedicated to the development of sustainable entrepreneurial opportunities for underserved people in the developing world in India and Southern Asia, Africa, and Central America.
