Summer Zhao is Investment Director at Lafayette College, where she works closely with the CIO to oversee the college’s endowment pool and other separately invested assets. With over ten years of experience in asset allocation and manager selection, Summer has expertise in both traditional and alternative asset classes.
Prior to joining Lafayette College in 2016, Summer served on the investment team at Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies. She also gained valuable experience in trading from her time at HSBC and in quantitative research at Natixis. She holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Cornell University, as well as an Engineer’s degree from Télécom Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University.
