Tom Janisch, CFA

Tom joined ACG in 2001 and is a senior member of our research team. He is primarily responsible for manager identification, due diligence, and selection and monitoring of long/short equity, event driven, private equity and “Unconstrained Equity” managers. He also helps coordinate manager research and due diligence of traditional equity asset classes. Tom is a member (and former Chair) of the ACG Investment Committee. Tom also serves on the Investment Committee of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. Prior to joining our firm, Tom spent several years working with distressed companies and trustees at the United States Bankruptcy Court. Prior to that, he spent four years at Price Waterhouse performing financial analysis and strategic planning. Tom earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and his BA (Cum Laude) from St. Louis University. He is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of St. Louis and the CFA Institute.
