Varun joined NEPC in 2018 and works on portfolio construction projects, including asset allocation studies, manager research, portfolio management, and other technical projects. Varun is a member of NEPC’s OCIO Services Team and works alongside senior investment strategists and serves as a liaison between the NEPC OCIO and Consulting teams.

Prior to joining NEPC, Varun was employed at the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP) as a Senior Investments and Financial Analyst. During his time with NTHP, Varun worked on their endowment conducting research, financial analysis, and led the yearly audit process. Prior to NTHP, Varun worked as an Investment Analyst at The Benval Group.

Varun earned his B.A. in Economics from Boston University and an MBA in Finance & Investments from George Washington University.
