William is a Principal within Mercer’s Insurance Investment Team. William is responsible for advising insurers on asset allocation, investment strategy and portfolio design, and building investment solutions for them. William has advised several multi-national insurers on investment strategy during his time at Mercer.

William joined Mercer in July 2020 from PwC, where he was a Director in the ALM and investment advisory business for 5 years. Prior to that, William worked in Investment Banking for 10 years, most recently as Director of Insurance Solutions at Barclays Investment Bank.
